Social Media and Communications Specialist (Part Time)

Responsibilities

  • Create and implement paid and organic campaigns to help drive traffic to TCC and Emerald Contact Centre’s websites and social media pages.
  • Develop content calendars on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Maintain active communication with Talent team for recruitment marketing posts and events schedule.
  • Create social media content and imagery; including writing engaging and persuasive copy for captions and paid ads.
  • Source new content when needed.
  • Monitor analytics to identify successes and areas that need improvement.
  • Monitor all engagements with social posts and draft necessary response if needed.
  • Craft reporting that show key metrics and performance across channels.
  • Use Instagram Stories, Facebook Stories, and Facebook Live to engage audiences.
  • Actively seek and research new opportunities to engage following and new audiences.
  • Stay up to date on the changes, evolutions, and policies of the social media industry. Stay on par with industry standards and ahead of trends.
  • Assist with editing content for the TCC/ECC client newsletter and website.
  • Leverage allocated budget to target the appropriate audience and grow following on all brand’s channels.
  • Contribute to the development, planning, and execution of the greater strategy involving influencer marketing and other promotional tactics.
  • Work with various business partners and web team to strategize how we can better track visitor behavior on websites using appropriate tracking methods.
  • Collaborate with graphic designer to ensure we have fresh, brand effective images across channels.

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience with social media
  • Pursuing or currently holding a Bachelors Degree
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to effectively navigate multiple CRM systems
  • Demonstrates initiative and the ability to work independently
  • Ability to ask probing questions and correctly identify customer needs
  • Thrive in a fast-paced work environment
  • Upbeat, consultative demeanor, combined with a high energy level
